I have seen or read about most really old snowmobiles but this one is new to me.

The picture is from H.A.M.B. but there is an article about it at Old Motor.

That's more a motorsled than a snowmobile...

Where I be at, it is now 7 degrees F, and that is about ten degrees warmer than it was for the five days before this.

Model T cars on tracks and skis were some of the early snowmobiles.

If it is designed to run on snow, it is considered a snowmobile, or snow machine or sno skoter depending on where one lives.

A motorsled would also be a snowmobile i think.

For those of you who don't know, G Villeneuve was a champion snowmobiler before he started racing cars.

I would have given anything to see him run that unit hard.

Has his brother retired ?

Last year, or maybe the year before he had an accident, not of his making during a race that sidelined him.

42.8 degrees C at the cricket today in Perth - which is hot even by Oz standards.
