Time to start the dreaming....

I want to see at least one new grand prix winner, preferably Grosjean, a McLaren revival and one of the 'young' teams to finally score a bloody point.

Maldonado shutting people up and whiping the floor with Grosjean

McLaren revival indeed and a Hamilton-esque debut from Magnussen would be nice.

Red Bull facing more competition at every race.

- Williams to have a solid season (which means no lower than 6th in WCC- with their heritage, budget and facilities they can't target any lower)

- Rosberg to keep going well against Hamilton

- Maldonado to prove he is no slouch

- Ferrari to do bad (I don't tend to wish bad for anybody, but Ferrari are an excpetion)

- All current teams to survive and a new team chosen by FIA to be able to do more than HRT did

- New engine formula to differentiate relative car's performance throughout the race so we have interesting races

- Championship not to be decided by doubled points in the last race

They've had a LiMP 1 for some years now.

I don't have any hopes for 2014. The formula for exciting races is almost perfect: DRS, more KERS, Tilke tracks, dubble points, wired engine sound, tire saving, fuel saving, censored radio messages, team orders from race 1, paydrivers, driving with 4 wheels outside the track... It has nothing to do with the former F1, so I want it to continue this way until this fake series collapses.

Fernando Alonso to be champion. And to win the championship in the wet.

And Seb will fade away in 2014 somewhat.

3 way Le Mans battle
Ricciardo to challenge Vettel and somewhat devalue his 4 titles and legend status
Kimi to prove Alonso isn't all he is cracked up to be.
Hamilton to prove he's some other mustard and destroy Rosberg ;-)

Red Bull to drop off performance wise. I am quite an admirer of what Vettel & Red Bull have done. I just want to see the 4 time champ forced to change teams.

Williams to become akin to Lotus this year in terms of performance, with Bottas getting his maiden win.

A new WDC, Rosberg seems in the best position to do this.

Kimi beating Alonso in the points total.

Ferrari have a race winning car.

Williams resurgence.

Red Bull losing some pace.

New team announcement, hopefully another manufacturer.

Force India getting closer to the top.

Ricciardo giving Vettel a fight.

Double Points is scrapped before the start of the season.

DRS is scrapped before 2015

The tyre situation somehow sorts itself out

Red Bull to produce another outstanding car, but Ferrari and Mercedes to be competitive.

Hammy, Fred and Kimi battle for the WDC ... may the best man win (no FIA nonsense).

Seb to be equal 4th in the WDC with ......... Ricciardi.

Grosjean to get his first win, and Maldonado to get the drive he really deserves ....... the transporter for Williams.

Sutil and Hulkenberg to prove that a change can do you good.

After another dismal season McLaren offer a drive to Hinchcliffe.

The Mercedes engine to be a beast and Ferrari to produce a great car - leading to a Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, Force India and Williams battle. Hamilton, Rosberg, Alonso, Raikkonen and Hulkenberg all close towards the end of the season.

Ricciardo to surprise a few.

Double points scrapped before the championship begins.

DRS consigned to the pits of hell from whence it came.

Marc Marquez to not dominate every race.

Willy P IndyCar champion.

Josh Brookes BSB champion.

Alonso will not only have to beat the other three world champions but he will have to beat Kimi another world champion in the same team. If he does it he would get a lot of recognition.

Jenson Button WDC with Magnussen in the WDC podium.

For F1: BCE being ousted, CVC being ousted, F1 canning the tire, wing and point gimmicks and starting a long-awaited return to its roots.

Indycar: Survival through the next two years, I wanna go watch the 500 from trackside in 2015.  :D So, basically, increased exposure and keep the racing as good it has been for the last two years,

Le Mans: A fast, hard-fought and most importantly SAFE race in all classes, with either Toyota or Porsche breaking Audi's dominance. Plus, please, no rain, I don't want to go back to the campsite on Sunday morning and find I need to pack a wet tent.

I'd actually like to see both of them have a good season.  I think both have the potential to be future WDCs but neither (okay, Grosjean towards the end of 2013) seems to get the attention their abilities IMHO deserve.

F1 cars getting on the throttle and ERS power and getting the rear wheels out of line

Ferrari producing a dominant car so we can watch a Kimi-Alonso shit fight

Porsche return victory at Le Mans captures public's imagination, encourages Nissan, Ferrari, Honda et al to invest in a return

A proper Indycar title battle with the top drivers racing for the win every weekend

Risil remembers to watch the Martinsville NASCAR race

Bradley Smith being second fastest Yamaha

Tommy Bridewell winning a BSB race

Hondas, KTMs and Mahindras all competitive in Moto3

I'm hoping for a much better car and another WDC for Jenson, with WCC for McLaren.

That means that Macca have to avoid messing it all up.

Well, strategy should be easier with a better car. :)

I'd really love to see McLaren and Williams produce race winning cars and get back where they belong. Hoping for Bottas to really make his breakthrough and get his maiden podium. I also hope that Räikkönen vs. Alonso is going to be epic. It's exactly what we all have wanted to witness for the last 10 years.

I hope Ferrari wins WCC.

I hope a Ferrari driver wins WDC(preferably Kimi, but Alonso probably deserves to finally get a 3rd title before retiring).

If not, I hope Vettel wins the WDC in Abu Dhabi  thanks to the double points rule.  :p  The uproar would be hilarious.

I hope Perez wipes the floor with Hulk and kills the hype.

I hope Kvyat and Kevin have impressive debuts.

Vettel not winning thirteen races.

Less long threads whinging about the Bernie or FIA's latest dopey rules change idea.

People moaning about DRS and/or Pirelli tyres actually giving constructive ideas about something to replace it that won't result in the processional boring races we had without them, rather than just venting.

New Jersey making its mind up whether it wants a race or not.

I guess this is just because you are superstitious and winning 14 races would actually be better, right?    ;)

F1 - Hoping that stupid topics like tyres, DRS, KERS, multi 21, money and brain fart rules stops overshadowing racing.

Indycar - The series continues it's slow recovery and fights the urge to look over the other side of the fence, Simona to equal Danica's record and sport a Regazzoni mustache on the podium.

Lemans - Ferrari makes a surprise comeback announcement before raceday completly rendering the Porsche debut as old news, Mark Webber beats King Tom, Toyota in a honorable 3rd spot. Ferrari enters an actual SF entry and tramples the entire GT field as a fareway card.

Moto GP - Rossi interrups his "champion's sleep" and beats the young lions one last time.

Nascar - Clint Bowyer wins the Chase, Ferrari announces that Dodge will return in 2015. Bike Mike announces the end of the Chase system as the sport does not wish to follow F1.
