Here's the annual AUTOSPORT Christmas Mega Quiz, have fun answering the questions! :)

Though I think I noticed some mistakes in it, which I'll post in white so I don't spoil anything:

12. F1: Where did Lotus race its long wheelbase version of the E21 for the first time?

for this question the quiz has monza as correct solution, when in fact the team reverted back to short wheelbase after friday: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/109701

34. F1: A maximum limit on operational personnel at races caused controversy earlier in the season when Force India complained to race stewards in China that some teams were not including driver physios in their count – while it was. What was the staff limit

for this question the quiz has 55 as correct answer, while the 'real' correct answer is 60, according to this article (and my oh so bright memory): http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/106011

- it has 50 questions, but at the end, when it gives you the scores, I got 20 F1 questions, and 38 non-F1 ones. something doesn't add up...

btw, my score was 15/20 of the F1 ones (17 if I'm right about the mistakes), 9/30 of the non-F1 ones, mainly got the feeder series' questions right, and 1-2 educated guesses about touring cars. motogp, wec, american racing guesses went totally wrong. :D

Spotted a couple of errors:

#32 says that Townsend Bell was the only driver to be bumped out of the Indianapolis 500 when it was in fact Michel Jourdain Jr.

#40 says Marc Marquez never finished off the podium this year, but he crashed out of the Italian GP, so how can he have done?

Come on Autosport, get your act together.

:p

Edit - oh and #7 attributes "This has nothing to do with racing anymore" to Montezemolo instead of Mateschitz.

Ah, trick question then. I blame the hangover. Still, very poorly worded.

Exactly - http://www.autosport....php/id/107402/

Luca's reaction to Dieter: http://www.autosport...t.php/id/107461

Shameful mistake.

You scored 27/50 (54.00%).

F1 only: 13/20 (65.00%).

Non-F1: 14/38 (36.84%).

With two of my 'wrong' answers being quiz errors. So 14/20 and 15/38 for a whopping 58%. And a lot was guessing.

yeah, it was weird when I read that answer, Luca throwing a hissy fit after a commanding win is very unlikely... so with the correction of 7, 12, 34, I'm at 18/20  :smoking:

You scored 31/50 (62.00%).

F1 only: 16/20 (80.00%).

Non-F1: 15/38 (39.47%).

Some of my mistakes were facepalm-esque. Should of taken' it more mellower. Eh, not bad, I guess.

Love the quiz as always but two observations:

a) - At Mugello Marquez had a DNF and in Phillip Island he was disqualified during the race so I thought he finished outside the podium like two times...

b) - Wasn't it Mateschitz who stated that 'this ain't racing' quote after Fred won in Barcelona?

You scored 35/50 (70.00%).

F1 only: 18/20 (90.00%).

Non-F1: 17/38 (44.74%).

I think my New Years resolution is to pay more attention to non-F1 related categories in 2014 especially as half the correct answers were guesses anyway.

I got 70% of the F1 questions, but about 10% of the others. It was a Euro-centric quiz, though, so that was to be expected--coverage of most of those series over here is next to non-existant.

Dude, you would make a mighty fine acolyte. Resistance is futile.
