Oh dear, I'm not quite sure what to make of this. I would really prefer that Lewis stuck to F1 rather than get involved in all this malarkey, but...if it makes Lewis happy, then who am I to argue?
Hammy goes all Villeneuve on our ass

At some parts it sounds like Lewis lost his balls, which would be a shame.
Well judging by some of his timid starts last year, that would explain a lot

Perhaps he's trying to make a point to Sebastian Vettel fans, anyone can 'sing' if your 'voice' is put through complex electronic systems to correct any performance flaws.
The last time I was able to sing that easily was what? 2007 or 2008 when I had the "I'm T-Pain" app on my phone.

With Justin Bieber's supposed retirement, is Lewis trying to fill that spot? He's voice reminds of Bieber's.

No no no you've got it all wrong if he had the balls he would sing it and not have it run through a machine that tidies every note to the nearest chosen note resolution using a harmoniser!!
Prove it.

As long as his mind is on driving when the new season starts he can sing or be a star in the Cirque du Soleil as far as I'm concerned.
His voice is OK.

Please Lewis stop, I can defend your driving with some validity, but this
It was hard to listen to. I can't listen to stuff like idol either. I get embarrassed for most of the performers.

And the voice isn't what tanked the Biebs either.

I wish he did this in private. How does the old saying go? It is difficult to get a pro on the stage and equally difficult to get the amateur off...
This is doing no favors to his legacy. Same as with Villeneuve.

I remember seeing photos of Lewis and Midi Mafia on Instagram. They are two talented top producers, and a very expensive ones. I wonder whether Lewis paid them or whether they did it pro-bono.

Of course one escapade more or less is no reason for anything. He's just being himself, and that's fun enough as it is.

For people such as myself, who are (or were) fans of Lewis, it's not fun at all. Well, unless watching a great driver throw away his career is your idea of fun. It now appears that Nicole has her claws into Lewis once again, so the future for Lewis is likely to involve becoming some kind of second-rate David Beckham type, rather than winning more World Championships. Sigh. Why is Lewis doing this to himself?
Maybe Lewis will prove me wrong and drive brilliantly in 2014. But sadly, I doubt it. Lewis's life is now about the entertainment business, not about F1. He will never be completely dedicated to F1 in the way Vettel is. But hey, if that is what Lewis wants, then fine, but something tells me that he may well have regrets in the future, when no one remembers who he was, and he thinks of what might have been.
I just wish there were another F1 driver who could excite me the way that Lewis used to. But that's life.

Really embarrasing comments from F1 fans, you really need to stop spilling your spleens on everything Lewis does just cause its Lewis.
If it was any other driver it wouldn't cause this angst.

This could be a really great career move for Lewis - by combining pop music with racing he could become a second Andrew Ridgeley

Don't let ASP lead you astray, big shock F1 driver does something away from the track, I see nothing wrong with someone doing something that he enjoys, shouldn't he do it just cause some F1 fans who don't like him anyway don't agree with it?

Vettel drives by far the best car. He could ave embarked on a world tour with One direction last year and still walked the title. The car is the dominant factor in any F1 driver's career and Hamilton as placed himself very smartly with Mercedes instead of McLaren. If Hamilton was doing this but had the RBR at his disposable everyone would be saying how vital it is for drivers to have other interests. Hamilton was recording his own songs back in 2007/2008 and won a world title. No one complained then....
Jenson Button dedicates himself more to Triathlon than F1 yet no one complains about that.... how strange.

At least singing is safe compared to other leg/hand breaking off-season activities.
He does a lot of motocross and ski-doo stuff... so...not so safe

Exactly ! people being oversensitive its pathetic . You telling me the people that work on this forum don't have hobbies in there sparetime. Just as you and Devil have echoed wait until he has a bad race or qualiying . It will be the usual " he should stay away from the recording studio or he's not dedicated to f1"
