After so many records, Vettel collected this season, I do want to other way:

If he wants to be the oldest F1 World Champion, he must drive until 2033!

If he wants to be the oldest GP winner, he must drive until 2040!

More records, Vettel will never brake.

*Break, not brake.

I don't think Vettel will drive as long as Barrichello, of course, it's not impossible.

Love the random punctuation, reads almost like a poem. My attempt:

Dust settling,

on trophies behind glass:

how I wish there were eight!

If you are a subscriber to autosport premium then in this article there are some more listed near the bottom of the article

http://plus.autospor...ass-schumacher/

Oldest champ, oldest pole setter, oldest winner, and oldest point scorer seem out of reach for anyone. Or can you image any of the current driver still be in F1 25 years from now on? Vettel for example would by then have driven 600+ GPs!

Also out of reach for Vettel is the record of youngest fastest lap setter (N.Rosberg), and youngest championship leader (L.Hamilton).

Having a quick scan of F1 records on Wikipedia:

The most obvious one is that he'll never be the Youngest F1 Driver (to start a race), the sadly missed (by me at least) Alguersuari who took Mike Thackwell's long held record (Thackwell's an interesting character, look him up on the Nostalgia forum).

Some other records he'll never beat (most of which he'll be thankful for) include:

Fewest races before first win

Most races before first win

Most races without a win

Most points without a win

Most podiums without a win

Most Grand Prix wins by drivers that have not won a World Championship

Youngest drivers to set fastest lap

Percentage podium finishes

Highest percentage of races finished in the points

Most career points without being World Champion

World Champions with fewest career points

Most races before scoring points

Most laps led without a win

Fewest world championship seasons before first title

What is staggering is just how many records that are held by Sebastian and his sadly stricken pal Michael.

100% podium finishes in a season. Schumacher did that. Vettel can achieve it, but not break, since it's perfect.

Win a race with his own car. Could happen, but not likely.

Who knows. Maybe one day Bernie will come to an idea that in order to spice up the championship, they will award multiple WDCs during a season.  Then people will again have a reason to complain that it will ruin all the historical statistics, just like the change of point system have done!

Many of the career records could well become his for the taking, but he won't break any of the records relating to % strike rates, whether wins, poles, or whatever - and it's those that often mean more, once you remove the statistical anomalies.

I hope he wins next 3-4 years and calms down a bit. Worst is if he doesn't win in 2014, he will start all over again for the most wdc in a row record.

And that would mean he'd have to end up with 9 WDC to beat it.

If you mean F1 races, indeed quite unlikely with his SL-65. But who knows it's Vettel afterall...

Vettel will never brake?

That could be problematic for him this season...perhaps it is the FIA's new rule to stop him winning? His car isn't allowed to be fitted with brakes. ;)
