Once in a while I receive a really touching email from a relative of one of the deceased riders/drivers shown in the Find-A-Grave website and today I received one from Mrs Ivor Cecco, the widow of Hilmar Cecco, who was the sidecar passenger of Florian Camathias. The outfit crashed on the last lap of a non-championship race at Modena, when it somersaulted. Ivor Cecco never re-married and only found the memorial page recently as she has not long been using a computer. Hilmar was only 24 whilst Ivor is now a greay haired lady of 76. As is common in some European countries, Hilmar's grave in Switzerland was cleared away after fifty years.
