Wirth WR-14 : Specially engineered pressure sensitive paint now allows for superb correlation between CFD simulation and on-track performance.

 

The thing is (and I already posted that idea once in a thread, somewhere, sometime) that your idea could be used to show different sponsors on the same car during the race. It would be a great idea to generate sponsorship, because sponsors could pay for a minute of airtime, or five minutes, or more for airtime on the leading car.

 

Ofcourse recognising which car you are bloody watching leading the race would be somewhat of a challenge...

The fact that Martini is a major sponsor of Williams this year, which I don't think even surfaced when I stuck them on my fictional Williams, is such a neat coincidence. I wonder if I should give their logo more exposure on my livery before the deadline.

 

Updated the rear wing of my Rockstar car, though. I think it looks better than what I did before, and HTC needed more exposure:

I don't have an objection for a few reasons.

 

1. Nigerian Streaming Club has been a running joke

2. It's about Nigeria, which stereotypically does have lots of internet scams, rather than about Africa/black people in general

3. I know him fairly well so know it's not intended to be offensive.

 

That said I'd disqualify him for not using the template correctly.

I'm a bit late with this, and the photobucket is being a pain so I've no idea if anyone will see this before I try and post it.
Idea behind the submission is that F1 really should be more colourful and visual. Pantone "the colour fashion idealists" produce a colour of the year that outlines trends and leads the visual standard for those in many industries. My team would use their choice as the single base colour and add synergy brands to compliment. This years colour is a deep pink (they call it Radiant Orchid) so why not have a woman driver in the Number one seat? Danica fits the bill for me. Add that still-born Cosworth engine and badge it as a Ford. Second driver for me could be Davide Valsecchi, just so as he gets underway in F1. Have the tub built at Advanced Composite Group in Heanor, and base the team at a new factory at Donington Park. At each race the first session in Davide's car would be driven with different guest driver hopefully a racer with links to the GP in question (why not guest Mark Webber for an hour in Australia? Marc Gene in Spain, De Resta in GB, d'Ambrosio in Belgium, Sato in Japan, Petrov in Russia, Rossi in the USA and Rubens in Brazil) and the other races - anyone who can provide the largest pot of cash!

Based upon the most recent rule changes made by the FIA (namely that all pit personnel for the USGP must wear skin-tight jeans and flannel shirts while grid girls will wear Daisy Dukes, and that the American national anthem during the pre-race ceremonies is set to be replaced with a rendition of Good Ol' Boys by Waylon Jennings) I am proud to unveil America's latest bid for Formula One glory:

 

 

Though you will surely see this car in victory lane, you will more often see it soaring through the air after launching off some conveniently-placed trackside mounds of dirt. While it is understandable that those of you who remember USF1 are skeptical of another American effort, bear in mind that sliding across the hood and ignoring the door when entering your car gives you +50 speed for the duration of your trip.

 

Some day Eau Rouge might get them, but the FIA never will..
