Seems to be bost. Every time I click on it, it does the whirly arrow thing, and then gives up. Just prints up a grey line. Both Firefox and Explorer.

Works OK for me and I'm windows XP and IE - that is it gives me a list of people that liked my posts. Not that I have a new notification to look at.
Perhaps it shuts down if there's too many people liking your posts

I had this a while back, seemed to be caused by the notifications thing reacting to a symbol in the name of a user who had quote or liked one of my posts. I got round it by going to My Control panel/settings/profile settings/my notifications and then deleting the suspected notification from there. Seemed to fix it.
