Can't swear to it, but I suspect at the Pike archive is with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Hants, England.

Sorry Doug, I have just had a reply from their photo archives, the Richmond Pike photos are not at the museum.

I also have attempted to discover who might own the RP copyright, without any sucess.I obtained some 100 original RP prints some time ago.I managed to make contact with a nephew of his who was unable to help.As some of the photo's were taken at Prescott I contacted the, then archivist Bob Light who dated the photo's at 1953/4.He also contacted a relative of RP but this did not provide any information.

The photo's cover events at Prescott and Goodwood. There are also photo's of, what would seem to be a VSCC track meeting, possibly Silverstone as well as a VSCC? driving test.

I understand that RP moved to South Africa in 1963. His membership of the RPS seems to have ceased in 1956.

Leigh, any good Cooper twin pics in those Prescott shots that I might be able to beg, borrow or buy?

There is a picture of A.F.Rivers-Fletcher in a Cooper 998cc car at the 9th may 1954 meeting at Pardon. There are two other pics that could be twins. One is B.Bradnack, the other an unknown driver, both at Orchard corner. The other Cooper pics of CAN.May and D.H. Phillips are 497cc cars. If you would like a copy of the A.F.R-F picture I could Email it to you.Not sure of the proceedure re giving Email info. in the Forum, perhaps you could advise.

To avoid automated spammers just make an obvious alteration to your e-mail e.g.  Mickey.Mouse[@]Disneyworld.com or Tom.Cat @ Warners.com
