At some point last week, or earlier this week, noticed that clicking on a link within a post in the Fora no longer creates a new window, which enables simultaneous viewing of the post & thread of origin, and the linked material.
Please restore this.
If this involves memory budget issues, perhaps cut back the feature which causing considerable slowness: turning YouTube links into directly clickable portals, heavy with info and sytmg thangs.
They're pretty, but make visiting threads such as "What Are You Listening To?" hell.
Please re-enable "new window" for linked items.

I don't think we changed anything from the time it worked, to the time it didn't, to the time it worked again... So I'm afraid that this is a bit of a mystery!
