Got really bored this weekend, so did some research into what the F1 teams' names actually mean, etymologically speaking.  If the teams used their root names in English, we'd have a rather Middle Earth-esque grid.

Made up of the following:

Red Bull-Boundaryless

Smith

Mercies

Lotus-Decision Ruler

Son of the man from the place of the laurels

Sober-Smith

Riverforce

Red Bull

Son of Helmet Desire

My land of the people who row boats

Enclosure at Chair Hill

Bit less catchy though.

Sober-Smith

Rather "Pure-Smith" or "Clean-Smith"

Nico Rosberg?

No a berg is a mountain. A burg is a town.

Hope I've got that right.

A Burg is a fortification, I think castle would be the closest translation. Nürburg = Nürcastle or something like that.

I looked up what the name McLaren means. The results are startlingly accurate!

The name MacLaren is a Scottish baby name. In Scottish the meaning of the name MacLaren is: Son of Laren.

SoulUrge Number: 7

People with this name have a deep inner need for quiet, and a desire to understand and analyze the world they live in, and to learn the deeper truths.

Expression Number: 4

People with this name tend to be orderly and dedicated to building their lives on a solid foundation of order and service. They value truth, justice, and discipline, and may be quick-tempered with those who do not. Their practical nature makes them good at managing and saving money, and at building things in the material world. Because of their focus on order and practicality, they may seem overly cautious and conservative at times.

"Laren" in turn is a form of Lawrence, which derives from the Latin Laurentius, meaning the man from the laurel place.

There's plenty of scope in classic teams, especially if you include engine names. I'll give you an easy one:

The barrel maker's staircase.
