I really like it but I've a small complain...

They should have hidden the penis nose by painting it darker -black or blue- just like Force India did.

Could someone photoshop that please?

Outstanding! Although the Rothmans livery is the all-time maximum.

Let's hope the car runs the way it looks.

Some subtle changes in the livery I would love to see (sorry for poor graphics skill).

Nice race suits, dull car though. Shame.

Agreed. It's difficult to do a bad Martini livery but this one is boring.

As I wrote too much white, I understand that white is a big part of what we all think as 'Martini', but they should have moved the bands of coulor so they could be seen from the side and from above, giving the real feeling of 'Martini' when racing. Sort of like the Porsche 936.

There will be angles where it will just look all white.

P.S. Outside subject, how weird is it that McLaren is without a main sponsor?

Well, the difference is Williams will sell you title sponsor for less than 20. McLaren will want over 50.

I like the way it looks, I think the use of black is better than dark blue for the wings and lower part, also they didn't overuse the stripes, and respected the classic feel of the Martini design, yes it's very conservative, but it's quite nice, they could have done something worse, I prefer their final design over some of the projections made, and if it's fast, it will be extremely attractive, even the Brawn GP was OK looking by the end of 2009

So many fans have their own alternate best ideas I would propose that Williams should run a slightly changing different stripe scheme at every race.
I'm also not a big fan of the 100% white nose tip. Yes it would be better to bring up an area of dark blue or black.
I think the long lopping stripes over and around the top of the tub should have stayed just on the cusp of the small 50mm radius corners.
And because I would have used a less wide upper stripe, I would have run a lower stripe twice the width, between the white body side pods and the floor blacked out areas.
The main MARTINI logo on the front top surface of the tub should be turned through 90 degrees and displayed as written to be read from the LHS of the car to suit clock-wise tracks and their main grandstand crowds.
The side view MARTINI logo on the engine cover should not have been placed on the widening stripe. It also fights with the fin design and I would have had the whole surface remade to smooth the airbox shape in this area.
The only lettering placed on the stripe should have read MARTINI RACING in white (as per BT44B) level with the drivers helmet.
I like the black front wing assy but I'm sure some of it would also look just as good in dark blue.
The rear wing need not have featured other elements of the martini brand logo. White letters on the black upper element would be a lot less fussy. I do like the colours on the lower element.
I've yet to see what is featured under the rear wing... May not be Martini?
I hope Williams are getting at least £25 million for this colour scheme branding, but I think Martini would be getting better value for money if it had bought even more area to work their wonderfull striped options.
On the whole, I like it, but it's still not as nice as a 1975 Brabham.

It's only €9 million per year from what I've read somewhere today.

What's the actual colour of the endplates? In the lauch pics they look black, in the on-track photos they look very dark blue.

That's really cheap if true. If Williams ends up being on podiums this year, Martini will be the real winner :)

Complete undersale at €9 million. That's just £7.5 million! I hope Williams have written in at least a £1 million win bonus clause in their contract from Martini.

Ahh, sorry. I confused currencies. It's £9 million, not €9 million. But it has reportedly some performance and exposure clauses as well.

Please, don't reveal all Williams' secrets if they may help other teams!

Dont worry i am not a f1 blogger. Just a regular f1 fan. If this is the year of the Williams team revival, then what better time to have this fresh old new look!

Williams should be paying Martini for the use of such beautiful colours. :)

Still, to get a title sponsorship of one of the legendary teams and complete livery design for £9 million is really cheap.

IMHO to get the Martini Racing in the name of the team is just worth at least £10 million.

You'd think McLaren would realise 20 mil in the bank is better than 50 mil on the ticket

Plain and visible to all potential sponsors.

Bit too minimal for me, I wouldn't be surprised if it was revised after a few races depending on the feedback Martini get.

Disappointed. Too minimalist to my eye. From some angles its barely noticeable that it is Martini sponsored.

The overalls is the way to go, although they are predominantly white, the stripes still dominate. Awesome.

That is exactly the way I felt. It reminds me of the minimalism we saw on the Brawn a few years ago and I feel they could have made the Martini brand very eye catching like the rally cars of old. I'm with you all the way on the race suits as well. :)

I could accept it, but it really, really bothers me that wings are black. So they're using 5 colours in the livery, that's too much for me. Wings should be the same colour as the dark blue in the stripe IMO.

The wings are blue, mate. Quite clearly so in the presentation photo on this page, for example, and as adumbo correctly described.

Ignore that. It's a photoshop.

Are the wings black or dark blue? In the lauch pics they seem black, in the on-track photos they look dark blue. I'll go with adumbo and assume they are dark blue.

I'm 100% certain front wing is not painted blue in any of the pictures.

On-track photos are edited and they don't contain natural colours at all, so black might look a bit like dark blue, but for me it really seems both wings are 100% black, as they were in testing livery.

They're black (carbon fiber nude) to save weight, which is very critical this year. Ferrari have done the same with the rear part of the engine cover.

Yeah, never paid attention to that but seems to have been the case already in the winter testing:

Its not dark blue?(williams blue) oh well. The romantic photo filter must have altered my perception. ;-) they must have made some changes because the promo materials that my studio was working with looked to be dark blue. Btw i am a bit bummed that 2 of my female office collegues are going to meet Massa at a sponsor lunch event in Sydney and will be racing him in a PS3 simulator. Fair enough they managed the project but they know nothing about F1 at all.

I'm now laughing at people who believed this was going to be a final design of T-shirt.

martini-williams-shirt-onpole-640x423.jp

Indeed, the concept is very simillar and it was not that hard to guess, but a good eye will spot some obvious differences without any problems.

BialStyCMAAWRWt.jpg

I don't think there were couple of last minute changes. Just someone wanted to catch the attention on themselves with publishing a photoshop that would make people believe it was not a photoshop.
