Thanks BWT and Jovanotti.

I gotta get ready to get back to work soon so I am casting my vote early..
Here is my Podium + other favorites and comments.

P3: #44
Congrats to Lurb, rjtart and drunkenmaster
Other favorites include:
# 2 Donkey's fishy business
#12 jrg19's Ronseal woodie
#25 BrotherFox' CrowdSource 404
#33 Jovanotti's Hungry Heidi
#69 Damp Mongoose's LesBeLicious (missing you already)
#80 Jyllenberg's Sinking Ship Investments
TOO MANY great rooksby's to decide from..So they cancel out each other and suffer the same fate as risil did last year.
I was disheartened to find by no entries from risil and the brillant but distracted CoolBeans.
I wonder as to the whereabouts of BWT???
I am also disgusted by Andew noHope for his blatant patent infringement of last year's ASSHAT GeneralLee. I have filed a lawsuit with the Italian court in Perugia and fully intend to filibuster this case till he's 73 years old.

Hard to choose.
#48 - Whole bunch of great entries by Lurb, but probably my favourite. The panelling, and exactly the right drab olive, takes me back to Airfix days
#42 - Nice and bold. I scrunched up my eyes to help pick the designs that jumped-out. Especially useful for watching on illegal streams.
#67 - Really liked the colours, just the right shades, and the clean shape.
Oh no, accidentally run out of votes before I could get to 73.
Also notable mentions for 35, a finish so metallic you can almost taste it, and who doesn't love a sharkfin, 85.

The joke's on you, Jon. I've got good odds in a lot of death pools. There's a better chance of Danica Patrick winning the 500 this year than of me making it to 73.

#26 A worthy opponent to the spit.
#42 Someone could actually put that on track without bringing the sport into disrepute (I mean the livery, the "power unit thingamagig" actually firing up is altogether another matter).
#43 Good idea, flawless execution.

Shiet, I thought you were already 75 and a half!
Good choices by jp - I would have included the Spitfire and the Ferrari silhouette if I hadn't run out of votes.

My picks:
1. #42 by Anja, had an instant crush on it, simple and beautiful
2. #16 by heineken2008, also a beauty
3. #28 is my favourite among all the great liveries rooksby submitted
Needless to say, was a close call with many many others
Btw, the voting will be open until/including the 9th of February.

A lot of talent around these parts.
Thanks to those who voted for or mentioned mine, wasn't expecting to feature at all.
Apologies to Danardi F1, had missed #10, didn't intend to copy theme.

No apology needed... it was actually a smarter one than I could do with my MS Paint skills And I'd love to see a real grandee name of the past like Bugatti come back to motorsport... MAKE IT HAPPEN VOLKSWAGEN!

1. #82 YOU pay NOW
2. #34 Greenpeace F1
3. #80 Sinking ship investments (woulda been higher, but lack of MCI Worldcom signage means it doesn't pick up the actually-sponsored-Cristiano-da-Matta bonus)
Posted 05 February 2014 - 21:42

Apologies to everyone I disheartened, lot of away-from-keyboard things to deal with in the last month.
These entries are all fantastic, especially the serious ones but especially the joke ones. But I picked and ranked my favourite three anyway.

Thanks for the votes on my #81 car, never expected it to pop up so many times. Imagining them on a real car, my list is:
#42 Air France Alpine - Looks really striking.
#11 Oak Racing - Should look really good in real life.
#27 Space-X Tesla - Like the rear part a lot.
Sorry to #48 Spitfire, #7 Danardi, #28 Test Honda, #4 Ronzo, #17 Williams, #39 Senna, #70 Tesla, #35 Olivetti BMW, #41 RaZeR, #63 Transparent car. All are pretty awesome.

And so, out of 85 submitted liveries - 50 of which polled votes - we have this year's winning entry:
#63 by TrollHunter with 31 points - well done!
(remarkable as Jackmancer submitted a similar, also quite popular livery last year)
Second place goes to Mind The Gap F1 by rooksby (26 points)
Third is #81 by ReDeYe (22 points)
Fourth comes Jp's NSC-F1 (21 points)
and Anja's Alpine livery completes the top five (20 points)
Thanks again to BWT for the excellent template, to everybody else for their efforts, and I hope to see all of you again next off-season

This well deployed compliance programme yielded a NEAR Podium finish !!!!
