tl;dr: race winners will have a clipart chequered flag on their cat. Kinda like a tank painting a little enemy tank on their gun barrel when they get a kill, except gayer.

No word yet on whether Kyle Busch will duck tape little checkered flags to his Cup car after he wins in NW and Trucks in the hopes of fooling ignorant fans into thinking he's winning races that matter.

So I'm working on stuff for a racing blog. Couple weeks from now I'll have it up and running. If I can get my old recording mic working again we podcast now as well, but that seems unlikely for the time being. Anyway, I've got a solid idea on what I want to do, it's only a bit of fun, but if anyone has any suggestions I'm happy to listen.

Wow, something from the past. On the West Coast, the regional racing newspaper (remember newspapers?) used to provide main event winner decals to short track racers.  There have been other similar deals with race winner stickers for short tracks.

 

Many college football teams still award "stickers", so...

 

"We won't be needing your banana stickers...we have found out that you can just, you know, buy psychological validation, so..."
