@GrumpyYoungMan: Could one think that at the last test session the teams would love to target running 1000+ km with just one pu / component set to get a real feel on the reliability?
They are getting there I am sure, but we still dont know how many if any components has been changed and how many if they were changed mid season would cause a penalty.
This all could swing in the favour of Renault later in the season, if the Mercedes PU later proves unreliable - not that I am saying it will... just concerned.
After all I am sure all the red flag stoppages caused by the Mercedes PU isnt a direct mechanical failure more them learning the fail safes and how to work around the issues...
