What's right with Ferrari ?

You can't afford one. But you want one.

Nonsense, too much is made of owning a 'Ferrari' until you do it's not what it's made out to be inmo.

I had one for two years and sold it recently. Ferrari's F1 team has better reliability than the road cars, ironic that.

Get a Porsche (yes I did)  :p

Other thing that was wrong with Ferrari was that 5 year plan. I mean a thing last used in Soviet Union applied to the world's fastest moving sport?

Come on just do 2+2 year contracts if you want long term commitment from the best pilots. Keeps the technical guys on their toes as well while offering something more consistent than just year by year stressing.

A lot is right with Ferrari if you look on absolute terms. They nearly won the WDC two times in last 5 years, have been among top 3-4 team. Ferrari haven't won titles, but they have not fallen to the level other top teams like McLaren have seen in the bad form days. This year is an exception though, very tough, humiliating and demotivating.

Ferrari looks too bad only because somehow it's a notion that Ferrari is here to win only. Either you have a winning Ferrari or you call it a trolley. Nothing in between
