In the Technical forum, there is a thread called Driver Deceleration in a Crash:  http://forums.autosp...ion-in-a-crash/ .  I created a thread over at Trackforum on this same subject:  http://www.trackforum.com/forums/showthread.php?168611-Crush-distance-and-crash-survival .  Am I allowed to post a link to this thread in the Autosport forum?  Thanks.

Well, I'm not a mod, but I've been around here a long time and never seen a legit link to another forum taken down. There is another well-known motor sport forum which gets somewhat paranoid about them, but AFAIK the only no-noes here are spam links, pRon and the like and illegal streams.

We don't operate in a vacuum and have to acknowledge that other bulletin boards exist, but the rules clearly prohibit spam and also discourage specific discussion (both negative and positive) of what is going on elsewhere.  We simply don't want to be a place where people come to complain about or praise other forums.

I think there's a clear difference between "Look at this discussion, it's interesting. Informed by that, what do you think?" and the less welcome "Look at this disciussion, come on over and join in" or "I was banned for disagreeing. lol."
