Masten Gregory's older brother, Riddelle, died today. Not as well known as his brother, he was nevertheless an accomplished driver. He took a fine third at Pebble Beach in 1954 in a C Type Jaguar and once beat Carroll Shelby at a Texas event. I am happy to say that he was included in a panel last June at the Art of the Car Concours in Kansas City. The subject was 50s/60s road racing and his fellow panelists were Stirling Moss and Denise McCluggage. I was the moderator and know he got a great deal of enjoyment from the experience. He was also present and made some remarks in August when his brother was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America. A very sweet man who lived a full life.
