I am looking for race photos from JUNE 16 1956, 7° CIRCUITO INTERNACIONAL DO PORTO, Circuito da Boavista, Porto, with the second place car Nogueira, Porsche 550-87.

Have you tried the newspaper in Porto or the Automobile Club there?

Hi Chris,

 

there is a very good book on the Boavista races:

 

Circuito da Boavista  Velocidade-na-Invicta by José Barros Rodriguez. Jornal de noticias 2005.

 

Only pics are from 1955: white car (number 1) with 'nothing' on it .The sister car of Mascarhenas (number 2) was white too, but with coloured stripes along the front fenders above the headlamps.

 

For 1956 only photos of the big class. .always two races for up to and above 2-litres..

Roger--sorry--are you joking??The tourist office...????

My expirience is not the best with Tourists offices ...When you ask them for something in the 50s..??
