the way things are now in f1,teammates for the most part, will be pretty close.because drivers are having to look after fuel and tyres, which means they can only go so fast during the race,to make sure their fuel and tyres last.so what drivers are hoping for now is,small differences to get the upper hand.e.i their teammate getting caught up in traffic,or their teammate making a mistake,or their teamate getting set up wrong,so in the race their tyres wear out quicker.and then, thats when they need to take advantage of the situation.lewis tyres wore out quicker in the first stint, thats when nico should have took advantage, then he had another chance after the safety car,but he blew it.it was close, but those small differences are what can win or lose you a race now.nico and lewis are only racing each other,so its not like other drivers can get in their way,and steal points from them, like in previous seasons.which means its going to be close between nico and lewis.but i believe lewis will come out on top,if he has no more car problems.

Who was spreading BS this time again?
We will absolutely never get past this drivel...

Oh no someone has a different opinion than you, why can't they just keep it to themselves?

just watched the f1 midweek report, and they are still talking the same nonsense about nico being more celebral, and more of a thinker.and if lewis has a bad weekend then his head will drop, and he could struggle.oh and lewis is harder on his car than nico.....but hold on a minute, did lewis's head drop after oz.....no.and lewis showed in malaysia and bahrain,he can look after fuel and tyres.plus lewis outsmarted nico in the race in bahrain too...and where is the evidence to back up the claim that lewis is harder on his car?it really annoys me.and the other thing that gets to me is the fact when they showed the clip of nico being told to make sure both cars finish the race, they tried to make out like only nico was told that, when in actual fact both drivers were told that, lewis first.thankfully, the f1 photographer reminded them of that.

Hmmm.... Nico had more mechanical failure last year. He must have learnt to be mechanical kinder during winter break.... I wonder in which university he learnt that? Freiburg University it must be!

Mechanical DNF's these days are far more informed by bad luck than anything else.

Nico picked up 7 languages this winter and is now able to read the instruction manuals for all the parts on his car. That is why he is kinder on his car this year :rotfl:

To bad he couldn't used his cerebral superiority or 1 or those 7 languages to overtake Lewis. Even though he was on the faster tyre and had better pace.... :-)

I dont think tyres or pace helps in an F1 race. What Nico is missing is Feng-shui and nobody has told him yet... Poor chap :rotfl:

Guys on Sky can have their opinions that Rosberg is more cerebral and kinder mechanically and peroa can have the opinion that such notions are BS and drivel.

I guess we can see why none of the teams have a Cosworth in the back of them any more :drunk: .  That Gallagher guy is in for a disappointment.

He's also missing The Croydon Factor!

Just saw pics of Nicole in Bahrain testing session, guess she's been keeping a low profile at the races, glad she's there giving Lewis support.

C'mon guys its only fair. Alonso is far more cerebral than Kimi, and Daniel must be more cerebral than Vettel to have come to grips with the RBR so quickly..........etc.

I dont think Hamilton saw Rosberg being that close in the instance people say he drove him off track. Looked like he chose a line and Rosberg tried for it but Hamilton was there. Im going to call Hamilton the "cerebral assassin"! ;)

LOL this cerebral thing is really winding up Hamilton fans huh?

Do I think Nico has more brain power or is more cerebral than Lewis?Of course! You don't get called to engineering school or pick many languages if you aren't a sharp cookie. Its a fact that Nico is a sharp guy, probably sharper than Lewis.Get over it,trying to justify it any other way makes it look foolish.

On the other hand,if I was a team principal,I would choose Hamilton's intuitive driving any day  over Nico's cerebral approach. Why?Because Hamilton's style of driving cannot be taught, even to any degree. Its God given .Nico's approach can more or less be taught to some degree. There are a lot of clever people in F1 and a team like Mercedes has the resources to help Hamilton cover that part.

I read somewhere that a senior engineer working with Lewis said he is at his best when he gives feedback on his car,in his own language, and let the engineers set it up for him, instead of him trying to influence the direction of set up in his car.If that works for him, bloody well go for it!In any case, what are the engineers there for if they aren't there to interpret the technicalities of set up right?

I honestly don't understand why his fans are hung up on this cerebral thing.

Being cerebral isn't a bad thing, but the potential of natural talent is just a bit higher when exploited fully. Having said that, on total laptime I don't think the difference between Rosberg and Hamilton isn't that big, maybe a tenth :) Ros is certainly a good match and study 'object', Lewis probably learn(t) a thing or two from him.
