Hello.

It seems that the Autosport magazine owned and operated a Morris Minor Lowlight in 1954 and published an article on it in December (17th?) 1954, a week prior to it being advertised for sale by Alan Foster.  There has been a suggestion that a magazine staff mechanic wrote the car off in an accident sometime after the 1955 RAC Rally and that the Alta engine was put into a Buckler Mk15 that was exported to Canada.

I'm trying to trace the history of an engine that might have been the one originally fitted to the aforementioned Minor so any photos or memories would be of great help.

Many thanks
