Hi all, not been on here for a long time. Hope all is well. I'm the nephew of Charlie Sanby and love reading what you all say about him. Thanks for keeping his memory alive... Catch up soon I hope. Cheers Scott

I believe this is the ex works SUZUKI  tr500 water cooled twin that CHARLIE SANBY rode before I bought in November 1976 from BRYANTS of BIGGLEWADE. For a big man he was always there about in the top places at the big events and would surely been even more successful if he was of a smaller stature.

A really gutsy performer and a shame he is not with us anymore.

My god that's beautiful and brings back memories for me. Both my brother and I used to sit on this bike when we were little. Used to visit Charlie in the paddock. I can still smell the exhausts!. Would you let me use your picture on Facebook. I want to post it on a racing nostalgia page. Would use your name as copyright :-)

This bike was sold to IAN RADCLIFF in 1977 or 1978 who then sold it on , but can't remember who to, hopefully someone on the forum may know of it's current whereabouts.

Yes you have my permission and perhaps you will let me know where you have posted it.
