In case TNFers were wondering where Rob Saward (aka Austmcreg) is, please be advised that about two months ago he had a stroke at home in Victoria. After time in intensive care he then moved to rehab. At this stage visiting is restricted to family. Emails sent to Rob are conveyed to him by his wife Di. Messages can also be sent to him at PO Box 381, Woodend, Victoria 3442

Not good news at all. Thanks for posting that John. Wondered why I hadn't heard from him. I'll drop him a line now.

Very sad news. Best wishes to him and to his family in this difficult time. I am sure that all who visit here recall Rob's many contributions.

Always sorry to hear of such news and as one gets older it happens to more of ones circle.

Having said that, Rob is younger than many of us here.

Like the others, I wish him a good recovery, if that's possible.

That is such sad news, although great that he has survived and is recovering.
Please extend my very best wishes.

Not at all good...

I've been awaiting his Longford book for a very long time, I hope this won't prevent him going ahead with that.

Do we have an e-mail address, John?
