COTA releasing USGP ticket prices. Looks pretty similar to last year.

$169 for 3-Day GA
$299-1300+ for 3-day GS

~$200 for parking

If Formula1.com is a good indicator, it looks like the 2 T11W GSs are gone. They suck & were practically empty this year anyway.

Hey Austin,

Thanks for the info!

I did GA last year after sitting at T2 the year before. What an incredible town, incredible event and memories I will never forget! One word of advice about parking to those potentially interested: I paid for a parking pass at T1 last year. I would recommend bringing cash and parking in a front lawn right at the entrance to T1. People will charge you $20 for the day. And some people even provide you with BBQ for parking on their property! :)

Hope quite a few of you can attend. It will be Halloween in Austin on Friday this year. See you at Sixth Street!!

Good point Scuderia. The parking prices are pretty ridiculous. You can also park a car or RV out near turn 11 with a great view of about 1/3 of the track, from T9-ish  to T11 and all the way down the back straight to T12. It's called Haywood's Hill. I know the man who owns it, and he lets me shoot photos out there quite often. Rather than go to all the expense and hassle for MotoGP, I think I'll just watch from there this year. He sells barbecue and you can bring along any food and drink you like, and you can camp all weekend with a view of the track.

You can see his view here: http://haywoodshill.com/

I've used the free/almost free shuttle the past two years, and it's a good time.

I notice the temporary grandstand tickets are cheaper this year.  Turns 3, 4, 5, 9, and 11 are all $299, which was the price last year for T11 only.  We're planning on sitting at T9 this year, having spent the last two years in T11E.

You'll like 9 a lot more, imho. You can see roughly half the track from that GS. Shhh....

IIRC they lowered T3,4,5, & 9 prices midway through when the sales weren't going so well.

3,4,5,9 & 11 were woefully undersold last year, with a good chunk of empty seats again in the Main GS as well.
