Thanks Jp, what an exciting location for a race! It's just like the old Osterriechring but without the grass, undulations, track design, spectators and scenery.

This time, in 2014, without good-looking and powerful-sounding cars either.
So what do they actually have in common? In both places you are allowed to drive in circles very fast, as fast as you can. So basically no difference at all. At least the most important thing is still in common.

Helio's impression!!!

Ah, have you not watched the first two races this year? Less in common than you suggest!

Should Autosport Live now be on air?
Has Hack's watch stopped or has he still got it set to Malaysian time ?

New fw on Nico's car.

That fuel sensor is getting just a little bit suspicious on Red Bulls part...
Posted 04 April 2014 - 10:52
#F1 Fuel flow sensor on Ricciardos car gone dead again. He will run in FP1 with FIA offset calculation as he did in Malaysia.
That'll be the smugness again. Sensitive bits of kit shouldn't be allowed near Christian Horner.

Track is beautiful at night under the lights.

Interesting... Wonder if we'll see other teams doing the same over the next few GPs...

I think consensus thought was people would change after Monaco, this is a very early stage, suppose they are optimising current ratios.

Uh ok, then they just go around in circles. At least that's in common! Though maybe the next FIA rule change means that they'll race on a straight line only...
Posted 04 April 2014 - 11:28
Lewis holding 5th and high revs in 12 while Nico changing up to 6th. Interesting difference.

Does Bottas have problems with the car or why he hasn't been out yet?
EDIT: Oh. So Massa has problems and Nasr in driving Bottas's place. Thought it was the other way around.

Maldonado is all over the place with that Lotus. Lovely car control, but as always, pointless
Posted 04 April 2014 - 11:41
He's not driving FP1, Nasr in instead.

Brazilian money talks. A bit disgusting. Wanted to see the williams team mate battle here, as it is most likely going to be dry. Bottas missing FP1 certainly isn't good in that aspect.
