Well the Mallory Bonanza seems to be pretty much a carbon copy of the 1000 Bikes in all but name and certainly has the feel of James Hewing about it.  My point I wish to make here is that if this is a money spinner for the new Mallory management can anyone see the VMCC ever holding the 1000 Bikes there again or anywhere come to that.  Instead of a fee for the circuit hire Mallory will now get the complete financial package, the entries, the gate etc. and all the profits therein. I can't see them ever giving that away.

Six months ago it was all doom and gloom because Mallory was going to be closed. Now it's seemingly been saved, surely the Bonanza is much better than no 1000 Bikes at all and no Mallory ?

The event is great and I have no issues with it. It's just such a loss for the VMCC in terms of revenue and I don't see them getting it back.
