Interesting article about Sid Watkin's replacement who for some reason lost his job- seems like working for FIA and Todt is probably not a wonderful job all the time.  The interview with Mario Muth pretty eye opening.

I started doing SCCA races with my dad  ( a family practicioner)  way back in the mid 70's when I was finishing med school.  Was lucky enough to meet Steve Olvey and Terry Tramell at the various CART races at Road America.  Steve gave us an interesting tour of the CART medical facilities back in the late 90's.  Interesting to hear about the unfortunate Greg Moore situation...   Luckily no real issues in doing many a SCCA race.  When we did the combo SCCA-CART races, Olvey et al took care of the big boys!!

For all his faults, seems like Max M did some really good things for driver safety.

Going to have get the Prof Sid books-   his parts in the Senna documentary are unforgettable.
