The 2014 PI Classic took place in March and yet again provided a sensational and world class 3-day spectacle of historic motorsport, with approx. 500 local and international entrants taking to the track in cars spanning 7 decades of motorsport history.

A fairly substantial collection of my pics can be enjoyed (I hope!) online at the following link by anyone who is interested :

Hovering your cursor over "see more" near the top of the main page will show you the grouping sequence of the pics and also provides a link to the results.

A lovely collection of photos.  But ..... it's a pity you only captioned the first half dozen or so.  Those of us who are unfamiliar with the Australian historic scene need captions - particularly of the Australian-built cars which we won't immediately recognise..

Thanks Duncan, but you've missed the last part of the last sentence. There is a link to the results page where every car you see can easily be identified. Unfortunately, captioning over 1000 pics is just not something I have the time to do.

Those V8 Thupercars are not historic. Just a few ringins!

Great pics though. I would like to have been there, next year hopefully.

They will no doubt be sometime soon, Lee. Time marches on and historic racing is not immune to that influence and I don't believe it should be. These days, with the advance rate of technology, 5 years past build date could easily be termed 'historic' ;)

Thanks for taking the time to enjoy what you missed and try to get there next year!
