Hi,

can anyone help me please. How do I go about trying to find a particular Alfa Romeo 6C1500. I would like to find the whereabouts of the car just to take a picture for my project, a then and now segment. Obviously if the owner does not mind. The chassis number is 6C0111211 and I think the car may have a 1750 engine now. I have contacted the Alfa Romeo registrar and they said last known owner was R Bignall from Bristol in the late 1960`s.

PM if you can help. Thanks, Paul

Well, there was an Alfa 1500-that just may have been fitted with a 1750 engine-here in Vancouver for many years.  It was owned by Fred Wilson.  He put it up for sale and Peter Giddings contacted Wilson through me and bought it.  I have no idea if it is the same car. This was the late eighties.

I think it might have been sold through Coys around 1990.

I'm not very good on chassis numbers, but if you have a registration number I'll see if I have come across it in my photo archive ?
