No doubt we will see many gains in car performance this year. But come Australia 2015, how much faster will the cars be from the 2014 Aussie GP?

No idea. But also remember that the powerplants will be updated and revised over the winter as well, so there will be more than just aero gains.

My guess will be about 1 and 2 seconds, depending on the team, obviously.

If you look at the GERCOP results in RC Bets and Games you can find exact data of how much faster slower the 14 cars are than the 13. It's very track dependant, they've mostly been 1-2 seconds a lp slower but matched the race lap times at Bahrain...

Part of the performance gain will be balanced by the increase of the minimum car weight. It's 10kgs more from 2015 AFAIK.

I hope they are quicker. I'm no sadistic but I want to see the drivers exhausted after the GP, almost unable to raise the trophy.  :p

On the current tyers - 3 seconds at least in qualy.

In the race then it´ll be the same case of filling up someones wetsuit with water till bursting point and asking them to run 100m........

Depends how many regulations changes there are for 2015. Hopefully minimal, although it'll be hard to make comparisons with the wet races we have had
