Its 20 years since Ayrton Senna died at Tamburello and a true explanation of what really happened has never been established.

Many theories were banded about at the time, they included:

Tyre failure

Running over debris

Power steering failure

Steering column failure

Sabotage by betting syndicates

Driver error

There are probably more but i cant remember!

In Tom Rubython's book it stated that FOCA Television which operated the on-board cameras had the original footage and chose not to get involved.

So 20 years on, no doubt there are those that either know what happened or have a very good idea, but for the rest of us there are still questions unanswered relating to the fateful day of 1st May 1994

Does time finally unlock these secrets?

Hello, this forum is for discussing current Racing Comments, so I'm closing this. However, The Nostalgia Forum has quite a few threads about Ayrton Senna's fatal crash, I suggest having a nose around in there. Also, welcome!
