@ElDictatore - my guess is that those structures make it easier for the driver to see their "box".

I think it is just 'neat' housing for the cylindars that power the airguns. The black poles are what the lines run along to reach over to the other side of the car during the pit stops. sorry don't know the technical name for it.

I also found it odd that both Alonso and Kimi happened to be at the Senna Tribute last week...again... something Ferrari are doing to get their drivers and Ferrari's name in the papers. Just my guess.

I cant see whats so special with that pit rig. It looks cool and futuristic. Mercedes has a similar set-up

Nothing like almost a month between races to ruin the momentum of the season.

 

But regardless, it's good to see F1 come back to Europe. It's usually a time for some significant upgrades to the cars, which adds some uncertainty to the whole circus.

 

I'm not sure there's much to suggest Mercedes won't simply dominate again, though. Meh.

I remember that after 2012, when Williams was great in S3 there, someone from Red Bull said that they should be unbeatable in Monaco, but it was not the case.
