GERCOP 2014: China (Rd 4) Results

So quite the opposite of the last race, even in dry conditions the cars were over 3.5s lap slower in the race but the race time was fastest relative to last year by some margin. The qual being rain affected discounted that. I can't quite see how the race time was so much better, was there a safety car last year or did they use harder compounds this year that meant less pitstops? Deg was very high last year.

Well done to Anderis for double gold this round securing a maiden win and becoming the third round winner of the year   :clap: F. Scaramanga and Makarias fill out the rest of the podium, Makarias deposing Mekola from the 3rd step by means of double silver medals this round.

Don't forget that the race was two laps shorter than it was suppose (and two laps shorter than last year) to be due to the flag being waved too soon!

Oh yes! Remember Lewis was confused enough to keep going, forgot about it shortening the race time...

 

That said it was still a pretty quick race (roughly within 20s) time compared to last year when so much slower over a lap.
