My brother in law Barney Darragh loved Jaguars - his late father Cecil had raced an XK120  and he had also raced  Bentleys  pre war. After  an awful six weeks in hospital Barney died yesterday . My sister  and I talked about the funeral earlier today and agreed that if we were able to play the sound of a D Type at the end of the service the old bugger  would really appreciate it.

I know a recording exists because I recall somebody choosing it on Desert Island Discs.

Can anybody help me ? Either the loan of a cd or a ripped cd (or is it burned?  whatever..) would be great . Happy to pay any reasonable costs of course. Funeral next week . Can TNF help ?

By a rather bizarre coincidence, the sound of D-types at Le Mans was chosen by composer and conductor Antony Hopkins (http://www.bbc.co.uk...1160ce#p009y5vq)... who died today (http://www.telegraph...s-obituary.html)
