Does anyone know if the f1 tyre tests scheduled for Silverstone are open to the public? I know the young driver test was last year

Silverstone haven't decided yet, I spoke to them in the week and they said they would provide information nearer the time if they decided to open them to the public. Barcelona proved that these tests do not have to be private as they allowed people with Grand Prix tickets to attend (but no-one else). Bahrain was private. I am hoping to go and have a couple of days off work but if they don't allow people in then I will just go to the FormulaE test which is on the same days at Donington for free.

Silverstone are opening the test to the public. They have put information on the website today.
http://www.silversto...s/f1-team-test/

£25 per day (£40 for both days) if you book in advance (£30 per day on the day). Free for anyone under 15. (so a bit more expensive than last year or the equivalent tests in Spain but still pretty good value compared to the GP tickets)
They are also selling tickets to go in the pitlane after the test at £10. They are using the International pits this year so have the stands open around that area.
