It's not like they pointed a pistol at him. It was his own personal choice to say he would react like Senna (theoretically he could have mentioned Prost ;) ).

He chose specifically to adhere to Senna, the driver who did the most controversial and disgusting thing ever in these circumstances.

but the media have been comparing them to senna and prost, and they havent been saying lewis is like prost.theyve been saying lewis is like senna, nico like prost.

Which part of "I quite liked the way Senna dealt with that so I'll take a page out of his book" did the media say?

Senna did it, so Lewis must follow the master.

Then we can say Lewis is the new Senna and Rosberg is the new Prost.

People still talk about AS and AP so it about time we had new bad boys in town to show us this era can be remembered to. Also we can forget about the farting sounds of this era with this new rivalry building up

Prost was a world champion. I'm not sure if Rosberg will ever be one.

I don't think this will get to a Prost/Senna level of competition. Maybe a Hamilton/Alonso tiff.

Good point, he could have chosen to hint he would punt Rosberg out at low speed, like Prost did. Would have been more fitting to Monaco. :D

And yet he's still adored by most, the entire world mourned his death, and he is seen as the fastest driver ever, arguably, whereas Prost is an afterthought...

Did you pick this up from F1Fanatic?

I checked Meteo France (highly reliable; they are the weather info providers to a lot of teams), and seems like a dry race until the evening...

No, several other sites. Accuweather etc and my iPad weather app (which is remarkably accurate usually). Meteo France is no doubt more reliable though.

Not the fastest, but Alonso's lap was stunning.
