Courtesy of  Kingshark I'd like to present a game for the downtime.

photo-77992.png?_r=1392966231

It is very simple, you just state two compareble options, could be drivers, teams, circuits, you name it! The next poster chooses his/her prefered option and keeps the ball rolling by asking a queston of their own for the next poster to answer. A short motivation is great too.

For example, poster one starts: Turbo or NA engines?

Poster two answers: Turbo. I like the fact that they are more road relevant. And then puts a question in of their own.

Remember try to be quick with the replies so we don't get several answers to the same question. And no argueing about others prefered choices.

So, open wheelers or sportscars?

Open wheelers. Because they are more purebred racing cars in appearance.

My question:

Fangio or Ascari?

Seb's 2013 as Michael's 2004 made me switch off F1 for ages.

2007 or 2010 F1 season?

. 2007 for the fact Kimi won the title when most were expecting Lewis or Fernando which leads me onto my question. Alonso or Hamilton?

As per the old regulations, narrower--but preferably, proportionate.

Audi R18 or Peugeot 908?

EDIT: Rats. That'd probably be Cheever for his commentary as of late; I don't think he's that bad.

But my above question stands: Audi R18 or Peugeot 908? :p

Wide cars trumps them all.

Eddie Cheever or Michael Andretti?

Michael Andretti, because he didn't find his way yet into the commentary booth to bore us all to death.

EDIT:

Next one: Montoya or Jacques Villeneuve?

Well, if nobody answers that - Martin Brunde, surviving horrible crashes in Monaco and Melbourne vs. Johnny who had that horrific crash at Brands. Of course Johnny is a GP winner but then there's all those things that Martin did in a Jag.

So - Jean Alesi or Gerhard Berger?

Brazil 08? Brazil 12?

doesn't matter, Vettel was a main performer in both  :p  probably '08, it was dramatic up until the last corner, while '12 had drama at the beginning and the middle, more championship leader changes, but went flat at the end of the race.

Brabham BT46B. That was a killer car and the fact that it got banned after just one race just adds to it.

Stewart or Lauda?
