Surprised that I can not find a Le Mans thread, dedicated to the race, nnless I am as inept in using search as many other thins in life.
Having AUDI, Toyota and Porche at the front of LMP1 we should have had buzz galore, yet there really do not seem to be that much. No passionate fans of the various teams 'battling' for supremacy based on emotions and the occasional insight.
I will naturally hope for AUDI # 1 to win it all, but unless they have something in reserve we have yet to see then it will take 5 retirements of Toyota's and Porche's to manage an AUDI to manage a win. Despite what someone posted as a comment to be, that Le Mans had regulated themselves into same miserable situation as F1, move away away way from the roots and try to become something Sports Car Racing is not supposed to be.
Yes I am looking at energy recovery, mandated shapes of cars, mandated fins, all the mistakes made in F1 being repeated at Le Mans.
Anywhere I can find coverage, I will follow it. I will listen to Radio Le Mans, but my real interest will be with Corvette and Ferrari in the lower classes, and for the Electric Car to break down at the start.
