(just in case you missed the shedule and Victor_RO's thread)

Press Release

The Unbalanced Nascar Trolls Threaders (TUNT Inc.) is proud to announce that the sequel to the box office hit Super Racing Sunday 2014 will hit theatres next weekend. Apply titled Super Racing Weekend 2014 - The Sequel, this subpar sequel boosts an overpaid star shinning cast of drivers and cars and many many absent minded tv commentators.

Why 2 days? Well, the great minds back at the office realised that 1+1 equals 2 and since we had no more ideas we decided to double the days since 2 is bigger than 1, we did not get the enough money to pay the F1 blokes to show up, but we got replacements in the form of bikes and Protolemans.

Hostilities have already kicked off with the qualifying for the support race in France, a Toyota is on pole, but it's not Kyle Busch, why not Sato? Well, he's not there, but a Nakajima (not the Satoro one) has the fastest lap, which is basically nothing considering it's a 24 hour race.

The Main Venue

Nascar Sprint Cup will continue it's summer series in the 2 mile oval of Michigan Speedway.

Michigan-International-Speedway-Seating-

Facts (only the useless ones)

- Michigan is also the name of a great lake that borders the Michigan state, oddly enough, the area is known as Great Lakes

124-LakeMichigan.jpg

- Detroit is probably the most iconic city in Michigan, it certainly is the biggest, oddly enough, the actual capital is Lansing, even more odd, neither city borders Lake Michigan

lansing-vinyl-banners.jpg

- Detroid is the home of the John Wes Townley based character Robocop, an odd tin man who manages to get his mudane cars filled with odd bullets in every outing (for the record, the real JWT is from Georgia)

robocop-car-500-25.jpg

- A Michigan delicacy is pasty, oddly enough, described as...

largerpasties.jpg

HOT POCKETS! (by the way, Nestle has recalled some varieties of Hot Pockets)

- Roger Penske has owned the track in the past

3569821.jpg

- Michigan Speedway is located near Brooklyn, an oddly familiar name for New Yorkers, also odd, is that neither of these Brooklyns borders Lake Michigan

111_find-brews_gallery.jpg

- The best known city to border Lake Michigan is Chicago, rival city of Detroit, oddly enough, Chicago is in Illinois State (im saving the Take me Back to Chicago rendition for the chicagoland thread, but here's a selfie from a helpfull citizen)

al-capone-mug-shot-archival-photo-poster

- The track is noted for being the sister of California Speedway (which oddly enough, is now named after the local auto club), also oddly enough, the track had a major role in the Split by hosting the infamous US 500 (free pasty for who manages to track down the also infamous trophy)

Trackside

So, what has happened so far?

- June Bug won 2 races in the same fiscal year!

95dae8c96a861fd82d08eafe68548e6bc598f6ac

- Jimmy's son has awoken spurring the also dorment legion of naysayers

51000278.jpg

- Danica's best result so far is NOT on a plate track! A top 7!

1229_danica_patrcik_bn-1.jpg

- Nascar officials showed what was missing last year in that crazy Indycar Houston race

1401651120000-6-1-14-dover-hole.jpg

- Austin Dillon remains missing, last GPS signals place him somewhere near the finish line at Daytona

50996312.jpg

- Everyone still hates Kyle Busch

The Grill - Status Update

So far 10 brave drivers stepped up to collect the much coveted sardine. You can check the names at this link:

http://www.nascar.co...no-raceway.html

Main Event - The Shedule

(all times local)

Friday 13 (Let's see who's the mambo jumbo chicken and refuses to drive)

11:00 - PRACTICE
15:40 - QUALIFYING

Saturday 14

9:30 - MORE PRACTICE

12:30 - EVEN MORE PRACTICE

Sunday 15

13:00 - ZE RACE

Not enough information? Head over to Jayski's site to get the latest

Support Races - The Shedule

Showing that Nascar is now a true global identity, support races will be happening around the world.

The french will be hosting a 24 hour sprint to keep fans entertained bettween the Nationwide-only-on-your-side-this-year and the Sprint Cup races. Ask Victor for details.

Saturday 14 15:00 (CET) - Sunday 15 15:00 (CET)

Le Grand Prix de Endurance 2014 - Circuit La Sarthe

http://www.24h-lemans.com/live/en/

Not far, in Spain (well, it's a bit of a distance), there will be a race featuring Motogp bikes, a very odd support event because it has it's own support events as well! Even more odd, it's sponsored by a name familiar to Kyle Busch fans.

Sunday 15 11:00 (CET)

GP Monster Energy de Catalunya - Circuit de Catalunya (includes 3 classes of bikes)

http://www.motogp.co.../Catalunya/2014

Wait a minute! Isnt there a truck race?

Ah yes... well... they are hanging out at Gateway. I will leave you a link, but let us just pretend it didnt happen ok?

Saturday 14 20:00 (local)

Drivin for Linemen 200

http://www.nascar.co...inemen-200.html

And since you asked for obscure racing check also the NHRA at Bristol, if you manage to find a willing broadcaster outside the US.

You mentioned tv. What about tv?

Check your local broadcasters, if you are tired or have a stolen truck of cash to burn, wire the funds to the Nigerian Streaming Club, only actual american dollars accepted, we had a nasty problem with a little british dude trying to pay with a watch.

It's Sardine Time!

Home track for Keselowski. My favorite oval outside Indy, and always puts on a decent show.

Kyle Busch is much more a butt plug than a tool. Unless you consider a butt plug a tool.

We should put that up for voting in the next thread

There's no doubting that a butt plug is a tool as far as Kyle is concerned.

I've always wanted to ask you who that is in your avatar and if it's someone I should know...

but, the thought that it might be someone I *do* know has kept me from asking up to now.

Robby Gordon got 2 road course wins in the old Childress Cingular car in 2004. That year he ran Indy until an early red flag, then left for Charlotte and Jacques Lazier finished the car in 29th

I thought we'd discussed paulb's avatar before.  From memory, yes she is a star of stage, screen, and stripper pole, aka a porn actress.  However, my memory doesn't extend as far as remembering her name.
