What do we think of FOM's capabilities to put together race edits and onboard laps on their website, for their 2014 generation videos?

Previous editions of discussions on their videos can you find here:

First thoughts here is a massive emphasis on the music instead of the sound of the cars. They don't even bother to make a showcase out of it or try to boost it. Furthermore, missing highlights in Monaco such as Marussia's first ever points is pretty bad actually. I like the cars more than the videos.

I found the new race edits to be pretty bad.

They don't have the vibe and appeal of the ones from previous years. They're not even trying to boost the car volume, it's completely mute. There's just less thrill to the edits that way.

if anyone is interested in 30-minute on-board edits, Canal+ do it after every race:

Wow, nice catch mate! Never knew that was allowed by FOM?

The Canal+ feature really is top notch.

Some people might find it painful to watch their drivers! It certainly makes you wonder what the stewards are smoking when the evidence is revealed from multiple car shots.

The hp and acceleration advantage of merc powered cars is very apparent in that video.
