Susie > Massa

That's impressive for Williams. That must be a record.

Good chance he's F'd the gearbox on that too.

Silly unnecessary accident for Massa. The team will have been counting on him after Wolff's car broke down.
Maybe he thought he could buy them some time to get Susie's car back out.
Posted 04 July 2014 - 09:41
Sounds like Susie not coming back out
Is she running again in Germany

Why has no one started this thread?
Because,
type of fans who bother to register, post comment and create threads here tend to attend GP
this weekend is GBGP,
and this is UK site
>everyone has gone to Silverstone

Talking about a driver I've never heard of suddenly popping up. Hi Juncadella.
Posted 04 July 2014 - 09:53
Don't mention test drivers, they're the devil apparently .

that's more like buildup thread as title suggests, and look at how scarce there and here!

I thought buildup threads included practice and Quali.
But I'm often confused.
Posted 04 July 2014 - 10:02
why have we got 2 threads?
I read the title of the other thread as 'FP1 - how do you think Susie is going to do?' rather than 'The FP1 thread'

why have we got 2 threads?
Because the other thread is about how Susie Wolff will/did get on.

Hamilton sets a purple S1? Quick, somebody spin!
I know right.. now he pits again
Why is everyone in the pits right now giving how interrupted this session has been
Posted 04 July 2014 - 10:11
Nico looks on fire, Lewis disappointing so far.

Yes, you can be disappointing if every run you have gets interrupted
Posted 04 July 2014 - 10:15
Nico looks on fire, Lewis disappointing so far.
Really? There's hardly been any running, and of the laps I've seen Lewis on, there have been two yellows and one red flag! A Looooong way to go yet!
Posted 04 July 2014 - 10:20
Still waiting for Lewis to get any closer to Nico...

Not sure what program Frijns is on, but he's really struggling from that onboard. The car looks dreadful.
It's a Caterham, what did you expect?
Posted 04 July 2014 - 10:27
Both Mercedes seem to be on track for 20 minutes now, yet the times aren't changing and FOM isn't showing either driver. Anyone know what's going on? Long-runs?
Posted 04 July 2014 - 10:29
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much understeer in the Ferrari.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much understeer in the Ferrari.
that's textbook, beautiful understeer
Posted 04 July 2014 - 10:32
Ok, so Merc were doing long-runs at the end. Strange not to see them at all.
Posted 04 July 2014 - 10:37
To be fair, most cars are showing pretty severe understeer. Its a characteristic of the 2014 cars in general and Silverstone has the types of corners that will display it more than most.Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much understeer in the Ferrari.

Like, even by their standardsIt's a Caterham, what did you expect?

Komatsu: So you're saying the car is inconsistent under braking?
Grosjean: Ehvverywhere

Posted 04 July 2014 - 13:30
Wow Ricciardo
Add some rain and they could be in the fight
Posted 04 July 2014 - 13:35
Maybe on dry track they could be in the fight too, who knows?

Edit : Same for Alonso, they are all off track in the last corner
