I run a visual inspiration blog, and came across this series by Laurent Nivalle, of the 2014 Cafe Racer Festival at the French track Autodrome de Linas-Montlhery. I delved into the Wikipedia's of the web, to find that this track was built in 1924, just south of Paris, and this is where Antonio Ascari (father of Alberto) had his fatal accident.

Anyhow, I hope you guys enjoy the images. I think they're great.

Again - I did not take these photos, Laurent Nivalle did.

Wasn't this the track used for setting long distance records etc and didn't Mike Hailwood set some up there?

yes mate Norton used it in the 50s with Ray Amm and Eric Oliver to break many world records and Velocette used Montihery to break the 24 hours record averaged 100 mph not bad for 1961 .Hailwood one  hour was achieved at Daytona   Bill Lawrence
