So, when will he do it?! He has 200 points, 72 more than his nearest rival, yes there are another 10 races to go, but surely its a formality....
When will Marquez win the Championship?

Can Marquez beat Mercedes F1 win percentage this year? Marquez has 8 out of 8, Mercedes 8 out of 9.

If Marc wins the next six races, his lead will be over 100 points with only another 100 points up for grabs for the last 4 remaining races. Meaning he can win the title at Aragon irrespective of where the others finish.....

Winning in MotoGP is never a formality. It is just too easy to take a tumble and suffer an injury that impairs performance, or causes a rider to miss races. Marquez is a star, but that does not mean he is immune to bad luck.

I hope that we have close wheel to wheel battles like we saw at Mugello and another race which I can't recall at this time, however considering no-one is really going to challenge Marc for the title, I hope he gets a 100 percent win record come the end of the season. That would be a truly incredible achievement.

On average Aragon looks likely. But if Rossi and Pedrosa DNF once even Misano is a possibility.

Qatar wasn't that bad.I hope that we have close wheel to wheel battles like we saw at Mugello and another race which I can't recall at this time, however considering no-one is really going to challenge Marc for the title, I hope he gets a 100 percent win record come the end of the season. I'd like to see him get them all, but... easier said than done. If anyone can do it, he can.

In 1968 there were 17 races if you add 500cc and 350cc together, and Giacomo Agostini won all of them.
If Marquez takes all 18 this year and has a bigger clean sweep than Ago then it will be a truly astonishing achievement. He's still got a long way to go.

Fair point. I probably need a stronger word.

I really thought that come Catalunya, Assen, and Mugello that Rossi or Lorenzo will be able to stop his string of wins. Those are tracks that favoured the Yamaha with they long high speed corners. Well, Mugello was awfully close and so Catalunya, but Marquez managed to come up on top anyway. I really think that bar a rider error, he will not be beated on track this year, he's just that damn good. I see him winning the championship by the 14-15 round
