Sir Stirling Moss will take part in a Q&A in the Courtyard on Sunday with Louise Goodman plus will be reunited with his 250 SWB, Lotus 19 and  the Minisprint that he tested for Rob Walker. (which I've attempted to post a pic of and failed ) amongst other cars.

Really enjoyed my time at Shelsley today, fantastic event , great weather, great crowd. Did any of the many talented snappers of this parish attend?

Here's one I took on Saturday:  https://www.flickr.c...te/14734414395/

It is a car I have seen at the last two Autumn Classics at Prescott.  When I arrived on Saturday morning I found it in my paddock place, having spent Friday night there sheltering from the rain.  Wonderful and scary machine and a nice chap in attendance - Bob Dyke who had brought it all the way from Penzance - who told me that it had achieved 120mph before the Great War.

As I look at my £57 ticket for the Silverstone Classic on Saturday I wonder how Shesley Walsh can set up and run a classic event with Sir Stirling Moss, Ferrari's , a Lotus 19 etc and entertainment all for £12 a day , or £22 or two day AND under 16 is free.

I know that on a pence per car basis it is  actually more than Silverstone which BTW I love, but its nice to see a quality event that doesn't cost £250 just for a family of four to go for the day.
