I've been bored to death of F1 this season and it's not the DRS, the double points, the fuel saving, the high degradation tyres, the speed of the cars, the looks of the cars, or anything like that. It's simply because only 2 cars have a chance of winning. I'm not complaining, that's how sports work, sometimes a competitor's too strong for everyone else, it happens, it's a natural state of things. It's beyond dull to watch, though.

Yes, but mostly because of the HAM-ROS rivalry.

I voted No and it has nothing to do with the my favourite driver is not winning line. As a matter of fact I have enjoyed some of Vettel's battles this year.
The show as whole though just seems bland this year. It was not much different last year either other than we had nice sounding engines, and slightly better looking cars.
This sport could of went through a fantastic period from 2006 onwards, but in my opinion mistakes in the rule changes have made the sport decline for me, It is as simple as that.
Bring back any regs from 2006-2008 with better slick tyres and I think we could have fantastic racing, and unpredictability for wins, and championships between the best in the business (Alonso, Vettel, Hamilton)

Will is sort of preaching to the choir. I agree the business model is broken but the product is equally so. You want to put derriers in seats, provide a product for which people will pay the asking price. Admittedly this is kind of high right now, but I wouldn't even pay $50 to go see an F1 race weekend in its current format. I know what the experience is like, and I'd rather pay $100 to spend a week at an Indycar race--especially a double-header or one in which TUSC was a support series.Excellent article by Will Buxton about what is really wrong with F1
