HI EVERYONE I am trying to trace the history of a AC Cobra that raced in the 1971 Modsports championship driven by Chris Shipton. He finished 2nd at Silverstone

Any clues you can provide - Capacity?  Registration?  Chassis number?  Colour?  Body style, ie open or hardtop? etc

 

The more information to start with, the fewer blind alleys.

Sorry for the delay.

 

AC Cobra chassis no. COB6030 reg. no. HPF407C driver Chris Shipton. He had a 2nd and a 3rd at Silverstone in 1971. That's all I know

 there was a small thread here a few years back on this car. the SAAC forum members really know their stuff. you might try them, even if the car raced in England.

I did try saac, but no joy. I suppose old 1971 autosport mags are worth trying
