I used to get various timing data and even a race gap and place simulation (which was superb) from Autosport's subscription service - but Autosport does not provide it any more (despite taking my subscription).

Instead, Forix has some data, but one cannot even get a download or copy of the race lap times for all laps and contestants. All Forix offers is per driver - so one has to spend heaps of time copying and pasting all that data, which takes forever and results in heaps of extra columns and is also likely to result in errors.

Is there another service I can use? I am happy to pay - but if I do, I'll cancel my Autosport subscription. I am here for F1, and without the basics, there's no point paying.

FIA page has them for free:

See for example this for Hungarian Grand Prix.

Race history chart may also be useful:

No, since as said in the initial post, only individual lap times are shown. Also the fast pace race graphical model which shows the gaps and places via a script, and had a timing sequence (very fast, fast, etc) is not duplicated by Forix.

The main reason why I paid my subscription is now gone - Forix's service leaves out what I want and what I expected from my subscription.

Thanks.

The race history chart is not too bad ... boy though I found Autosports just so easy and powerful.

Whoever did Autosports - please setup a page and I'll subscribe for your race data info that used to be there.

Bleu - I had looked for such information, but could not find the links or headings ... perhaps though I was looking at the Formula1 site!! I think the FIA data is not up forever - but I'll go and have a look. They also seemed to provide more information to journalists than to outsiders.

But thanks, its a lot better than nothing. There used to be a Spanish site that had good data ... but with Autosport's data, I took that ... and now i do not know where or the name of that Spanish site. But ... even if Spanish, its better than Forix, which promises lots but ends up irritating.
