This pay driver thing needs to stop. I never liked Caterham and now that they have dropped a quality driver in Kobayashi to bring in another low quality under qualified pay driver to dilute the quality of F1 even further I hope they fold soon. Really what is this going to bring them? Another 6 races of lingering around the back of the field?Just pack it in already.

Kobayashi is only dropped for 1 race. He may be back in the seat in Monza.

Shouldn't this topic be merged with the Lotterer replacing Kobayashi headline.

Didn't Alonso start off as a pay driver at Minardi? And Raikkonen at Sauber...

Paying drivers is nothing new; they existed in the 1920's as well as now.

And, anyway, what about mentioning - for instance - a certain Niki Lauda at March in 1972 ?

This is a thread that just shows ignorance and arrogance, nothing else. Lotterer is a multiple Le Mans winner and as deserving as many others.

Worst thread in the history of the Autosport forum?
