Strange race overall. Poor races from Rosberg, Vettel and even Alonso. Some great racing, some silly DRS moves. Without the massive Mercedes controversy, the race didn't have too much else.

A touch of the Wacky Races today.
I'll give it an 8

Ricciardo. His consistency, pace, tyre management, everything was world class.
Worst Driver
Rosberg, so many mistakes.
Best Team
Red Bull as usual
Best Overtake
Can I choose the McLaren ft Alonso battle? Not an overtake as such.
Best Moment
Hamilton/Rosberg #drama
DRS + Tyres
meh
I gave a 7. Disappointed by Rosberg at the end. Would've been juicy if he caught Ric.

Probably one of the many by Alonso. Shame he had poor luck at the end.
Best Moment
Ricciardo's huge smile at the end.
Williams need to work on Strategy. They keep putting Bottas in a strategy that won't allow them to win. Bottas has the car and pace to do like Ricciardo when Mercedes screw up, but the team strategy is holding him back.

Rated it 7/10. Enjoyable, but helped a lot by the fantastic Spa-Francorchamps circuit, which is ever more in a class of its own.
Best Driver: Nobody really stood out, I think. It was nice to see Räikkönen up there, so I might as well give him the nod.
Worst Driver: Magnussen. There's defensive driving, and then there's whatever it was he was doing.
Best Team: Difficult to say. Red Bull made the most of it with Ricciardo, Mercedes adapted to Rosberg's problems nicely (and once again had a ridiculously superior car), while McLaren and Ferrari got both their cars reasonably up in the points.
Best Overtake: Alonso on Pérez was nice.
Best Moment: The various fantastic helicopter and long-focus lens pictures that combined the beautiful track with the still impressive speeds of the F1 cars. The helicopter coming through the forests at Blanchimont, or climbing up to Les Combes was fantastic. The shot at the end of the main grand stand beautifully captured the crowds at Pouhon (!) in the same shot. Spa-Francorchamps is the real jewel in F1's crown, whatever the bozos in Monaco might claim.
DRS + Tyres: DRS was horrific as usual at Spa-Francorchamps. It makes a mockery of the fantastic La Source - Eau Rouge - Kemmel combination to slap on a DRS zone at the end of that straight. The tyres seemed to hold together decently, which unfortunately has to be seen as a positive.
And the race in a sentence: Dubious driving standards notwithstanding, this was an amusing race in a fantastic - and well attended - venue.

difficult to tell, several good overtakes. Maybe one of Ricciardo?

Best Driver: Ricciardo (for managing his tyres until the very end)
Worst Driver: Hamilton (for the lack of spirit)
Best Team: Red Bull (for betting on the risky low downforce strategy)
Best Overtake: Alonso on Perez
Best Moment: the battle behind Magnussen
DRS + Tyres: duh
Gave it an 8 as it was good entertainment and Mercedes didn't dominate as expected

Rated it 8/10. Had some odd moments and some very exciting racing.
Best Driver: Ricciardo. He delivers.
Worst Driver: Magnussen. Thought he was over the top in his defensive moves. (edit) On second thought .... Mags did what was necessary, so I nominate Hamilton and Massa (tie) for whining.
Best Team: Dunno ... Ferrari seemed to be making progress, but that snafu at the start ruined Fernando's chances, so Red Bull for the winning strategy.
Best Overtake: Alonso on Pérez was my fav, but that Vettel pass on Mags (????) near the end was pretty cut-throat.
Best Moment: Kimi's interview.
And the race in a sentence: This was an interesting race on many levels, but not near as much fun as the pathetic bleating from the Hamilton fans during and afterwards.

10/10
Best driver: Ricciardo
Worst driver: mr. bean (they all made it to F1 thus they can't be that bad)
Best team: RB
best overtake: there where many good overtakes though i don't remember one particular
Best moment: The K-Mag train in the last laps
DRS + Tyres: we don't need DRS at tracks like this
Race in a sentence: This race had everything a soap opera needs; excitement and intrigue.

Best Driver: Ricciardo
Worst Driver: Massa - totally invisible while Bottas was right up there. Vettel a strong second, closely followed by Rosberg.
Best Team: Ferrari for pulling a great strategy for Raikkonen
Best Overtake: Raikkonen on Button at the bus stop
Best Moment: Alonso getting frustrated by Magnussen and raising his hand
DRS + Tyres: OK
Race in a sentence: Decent but could have been so much better if Ham and Ros wouldn't have messed it up.
7/10.

Best Driver
Daniel Ricciardo - drove consistently, avoided trouble, preserved his tyres
Honorable mention to Kimi - okay, it's his favourite circuit, but he really upped his game today
Worst Driver
Either Massa or Rosberg
Best Team
Red Bull
Best Overtake
Alonso - his planning and execution were, as usual, excellent
Best Moment
When a large ball of debris attached itself to Rosberg's aerial.
DRS + Tyres
Not really much to say here - the tyres lasted better than expected, the DRS was not too obvious
Spa normally delivers us a good race, this year was no exception - very enjoyable, very interesting - and once again* provided plenty of controversy which will keep this board buzzing for days.
*I won't mention 1998**.

Weird but enthralling. F1 is better with Lewis racing for wins.
And Daniel Ricciardo is F1's most exciting new talent since, er, Vettel.

Worst Driver: No real standout's
Best Team: Red Bull, don't think they can complain too much about power problems now.
Best Overtake: Button on Alonso
Best Moment: Mag/Alo/But/Vet battle
DRS + Tyres: DRS allowed for a decent amount of overtakes and the tyres allowed for a difference in strategy between 2 and 3 stops.
Race in a sentence: The media must have been whoopin with joy when the Merc's clashed.

Best Driver - Ricciardo!!!!!! Bottas, Raikkonen
Worst Driver - Maldonado (for his overall performance during the weekend)
Best Team - Mercedes (They managed to be 2s faster than the other teams in qualifying)
Best Overtake - the Magnussen vs Alonso vs Vettel vs Button was exiting to watch, also Kimi on Button
Best Moment - Magnussen vs Alonso vs Vettel vs Button
DRS + Tyres - Never liked DRS... the tyres were ok
And the race in a sentence... Spa is my favourate track and it didn't dissapont me this year. 8/10

Best Driver: Ricciardo, yet again he was there ready to pounce when the Mercedes hit trouble.
Worst Driver: No real standout's

Best Overtake: Button on Alonso
Best Moment: Mag/Alo/But/Vet battle

They were visibly using a rear wing that was 2-3 inches smaller than everyone elses. It wasn't just slightly different, it was blatantly smaller.

Best Driver: Ricciardo. Did exactly what he needed to do. Honourable mention also to Raikkonen for a much better performance sadly not rewarded with the podium it deserved
Worst Driver: Uhmm. No real howlers, to be honest. Vettel was very slow relative to Ricciardo (which made for quite a painful race for we few who consider ourselves his fans ) but he did produce some great opportunistic driving at the end to salvage fifth place. I thought Magnussen was downright dangerous at the end, so maybe it should to be him. Or perhaps Ericsson for being unable to outqualify Lotterer.
Best Team: Red Bull. The decision to run skinny wings looked inspired, I didn't expect them to be anywhere near the pace here. I think they manage to make the best of their situation more often than any team on the grid. Ferrari and Mclaren also appear to have moved forwards and deserve plaudits.
Best Overtake: Not sure, we didn't really have many of them. Some moves of real class by Vettel, Button and Alonso at the end held in real contrast to the shocking driving Magnussen was pulling off. He has a long way to go.
Best Moment: The aforementioned end-of-race scrap. None of the three champions gave up when I'd have been inclined to treat Magnussen's car like the back end of an irked donkey, which was nice to see and made up for the fact that Rosberg couldn't quite catch Ricciardo.
DRS/Tyres: Different tyre strategies viable, which was good. DRS sucked however. Spa doesn't need one zone, never mind two.
And the race in a sentence... Not a bad race by any means, but one that was more significant than it was entertaining. 7/10.

I thought the racing/overtaking was better than average. At least partly a consequence of the low downforce setups needed for Spa IMHO.

Best Driver - Ricciardo
Worst Driver - Maldonado - stupid practice crash
Best Team - Red Bull - good job with the low drag aero package

DRS + Tyres - Ok
10/10 best race of the season

Best Driver: Daniel Ricciardo - it's getting repetitive Honorable mention to Kimi!
Worst Driver: Pastor missed his chance by retiring so early. Maybe Vettel for still not finding where the circuit was.
Best Team: Red Bull for making a low downforce configuration work so well
Best Overtake: Alonso on Perez!
Best Moment: Scramble for fifth at the end!
DRS + Tyres: I thought DRS was not really necessary here, but passing was less easy than I expected. Tyres: well, they're still Pirellis. Not dramatic but could be better.
And the race in a sentence: 8/10 - annoyed that we didn't see, say, a full Ham/Ros fight till the end but there was still enough happening on the track. And it's Spa.

Have a go at Rosberg over the Hamilton collision if you must but surely you aren't having a go at him for not catching Ricciardo at the end?
He cut the gap massively, hardly inept.

I think that does a bit of a disservice to DR.
To say Rosberg should won easily is a massive exaggeration.

Best Driver: Ricciardo
Worst Driver: Massa
Best Team: Don't know, most teams had 1 car that went well and another that went backwards
Best Overtake: Bottas on Vettel
Best Moment: the Magnussen/Button/Alonso/Vettel scrap
DRS + Tyres: Tyres were very good, hard to say with the DRS, most of the overtakes into Les Combes had more to do with the how good a run the drivers got through Eau Rouge and who was being overtaken, e.g. Ferrari were easy to get passed, Red Bull very difficult.
An entertaining race overall.

Blame the race organizers. They should have handed the British fans a copy of "Racing guide for dummies" upon their entrance into the circuit.
As for the race, I gave it a five out of ten. In hindsight though, I should have rated it a seven. Sunday's events have all but certainly guaranteed that every race from now on is going to be so much more enthralling!
