My apologies in advance if this subject  is covered in a previous thread--(I could not locate the search function at least not with my Chrome browser).

I am looking for some definitive information as to the exact differences between the BRM P126 and P133.   It appears to me that the key specs.. wheelbase, track, engine type, etc. are identical, but there must be some changes or modifications to have justified the change in model number.

Any help or link to other sites with this data/information  would be most appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Mark

The P126 cars were designed by Len Terry, and his Transatlantic Automotive Consultants firm built the first three cars, as BRM had a heavy workload at the time. When BRM took over the manufacture the cars were renamed P133, although, as you say, they made no significant change to Terry's design.

Ask Ean Pugh.  He has strong views on the subject.

One obvious difference is the seam down the side.  One constructor had the ability to make the sides in one piece and the other didn't.  Off the top of my head, I don't remember which way round it was.
